Fashion rules for Beijing’s 15 million residents

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

This isn’t funny, it’s only 5 more days to 2008 Olympic Games, the China government has already handouts etiquette booklets to Beijing’s 15 million residents to advised them on clothing and social etiquette. The booklets includes everything from what to wear to what not to wear. Source from You’re telling me to wear what? - UK Times Online

This reminds me back to old school rules where we are advise what to wear, how to wear it, colour combination and hair length. Give me a break, I am sure chinese people know what fashion is. This isn’t funny, I agreed that  they do need these guide, but it’s not about east or west, it is just merely for good social behaviour to make foreigners feels comfortable and happy staying in Beijing.

Enough said, I guess the guide should be applicable in Malaysia as well, ermm..at least we are slightly better that we don’t spit around.
